Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to your queries with our Frequently Asked Questions section, where we provide expert insights on industrial coatings, product performance, and application solutions.

I. General Information

1. What types of industrial paints do you offer?

We offer a wide range including epoxy coatings, polyurethane paints, zinc-rich primers, high-temperature coatings, and anti-corrosion systems.

2. What industries do you serve?

Our products are used in sectors such as oil & gas, construction, marine, automotive, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

3. Do you provide custom color matching?

Yes, we offer custom color matching services based on RAL, Pantone, or customer samples.

4. Are your paints compliant with environmental regulations?

Yes, our products comply with local and international VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations and environmental safety standards.

II. Technical & Product Information

1. What is the recommended surface preparation before applying industrial paint?

Proper surface preparation is crucial. Typically, surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Abrasive blasting or mechanical cleaning is recommended for optimal adhesion, especially for metal substrates.

2. What is the drying and curing time of your paints?

Drying and curing times vary by product type, film thickness, and ambient conditions. For example, epoxy coatings generally dry to touch within 2–4 hours and fully cure in 5–7 days under standard conditions (25°C, 50% humidity).

3. Can your paints be applied in extreme temperatures?

Yes, we offer high-performance coatings designed to be applied in low or high-temperature environments, including heat-resistant paints that can withstand up to 600°C.

4. Are your paints compatible with other coating systems?

Yes. However, we recommend using our complete coating systems for best performance. Compatibility tests should be conducted when mixing products from different manufacturers.

5. Do your products offer resistance to chemicals or solvents?

Yes. Our epoxy and polyurethane coatings provide excellent resistance to chemicals, oils, and industrial solvents. We can recommend a system based on your specific exposure conditions.

III. Application & Surface Preparation

1. What tools are recommended for applying industrial paint?

Application methods depend on the product and project size. We recommend using airless spray guns for large surfaces, while brushes and rollers are suitable for touch-ups and small areas.

2. Do your paints require a primer?

Yes, in most cases. Using the appropriate primer enhances adhesion, corrosion resistance, and overall durability. We offer zinc-rich and epoxy primers depending on the substrate and environment.

3. Can your coatings be applied over existing paint?

Yes, but only if the existing coating is in good condition. We advise conducting adhesion tests and ensuring the surface is clean and roughened for better bonding.

4. How many coats are typically required?

Most systems require a primer, one or two intermediate coats, and a topcoat. The exact number depends on the environment and protection level needed.

5. What is the recommended surface preparation standard?

For metal surfaces, we recommend preparation to standards such as SSPC-SP10 or ISO 8501 Sa 2.5 (near-white blast cleaning) for critical applications.

6. Can your paints be applied during humid or rainy weather?

We advise avoiding application in high humidity, rain, or extreme temperatures, as it may affect curing and adhesion. Always check the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for climate-specific guidelines.
